Yields: 6 - 8 servings
- 1&1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup of Sweet Like Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sweet Like Syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C, then line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 3: Next you want to add in your dry ingredients, such as almond flour, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Then mix well until everything has combined to a smooth dough.
Step 4: Transfer the batter over to your prepared cake pan and bake for about 20 minutes, until the cake turns golden brown.
Step 5: Once baked, remove from oven and let it cool for about 20 minutes. Then all that's left to do is slice, serve and enjoy!
Optional serving tip: Drizzle with a little extra Sweet Like Syrup.
